I am a Licensed Counseling Psychologist with over 11 years of experience supporting individuals and couples as they navigate life’s emotional challenges. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, as well as working with anxiety, depression, grief, and relational issues.

In my practice, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps individuals and couples:

For couples therapy, I also incorporate the Gottman Method, which is grounded in decades of research on what makes relationships succeed.

The distinction between EFT and the Gottman Method lies in their focus and approach. EFT emphasizes understanding and reshaping emotional experiences within the relationship, helping couples address attachment-related struggles and create a secure emotional bond. On the other hand, the Gottman Method focuses on practical tools and techniques to improve communication, manage conflict, and deepen friendship and intimacy.

In my work with couples, I often use EFT when the focus is on repairing emotional disconnection, addressing underlying attachment wounds, or fostering a deeper sense of safety and trust. When couples are struggling with recurring conflicts, communication breakdowns, or specific behavioral patterns, I draw on the Gottman Method to provide actionable strategies that can help them navigate these challenges more effectively.

For individual therapy, my approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy, integrating principles from humanistic therapy and neuroscience. This allows me to support clients in managing difficult emotions and reshaping automatic responses developed in unsafe or challenging environments.

In addition to my work as an Individual & Couples Therapist, I am a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. I offer parent consultations to support caregivers in navigating the challenges of parenting, helping them foster healthier, more connected relationships with their children.

Parenting can often feel overwhelming, particularly when managing intense emotions, behavioral challenges, or communication struggles within the family. In my consultations, I provide practical tools and strategies that align with Positive Discipline principles, focusing on:
